Ashley Pryce is an urban planner and advocacy strategist with over 10 years of experience spanning consulting, advocacy, local government, public health, and real estate. She has a deep knowledge of and passion for public transit including long range and other strategic planning, equity planning, and improving speed and reliability targets. Her work centers on better serving the riders who depend on transit the most.
Ashley is also highly skilled at stakeholder facilitation and consensus building; she has worked with agencies and advocates across the country to advance shared goals and implement impactful projects.
Highlights include her work to increase federal funding for public transit—Ashley co-convened a national field table of advocates to fight for policy change that resulted in $100 billion in additional federal investment; development and management of Women Changing Transportation, a mentorship program aimed at creating more opportunities for women in the transportation field; and co-leading the efforts of a diverse advocacy coalition charged with improving local bus service in New York City. Ashley managed campaign strategy and worked with planning and leadership level staff at the MTA and NYCDOT to ensure successful implementation of an ambitious citywide bus network redesign.
